Tips:

  • Use a food processor or blender to quickly and easily blend the applesauce, oats, and nuts. This will save you time and effort.
  • If you don't have a food processor or blender, you can grate the apples and chop the oats and nuts by hand. Just be sure to chop them finely so that they blend well with the other ingredients.
  • Don't overmix the cookie dough. Overmixing will make the cookies tough. Just mix until the ingredients are combined.
  • Chill the cookie dough for at least 30 minutes before baking. This will help the cookies hold their shape and prevent them from spreading too much.
  • Bake the cookies at a high temperature for a short amount of time. This will give the cookies a crispy exterior and a soft and chewy interior.
  • Let the cookies cool completely before storing them. This will help them keep their shape and prevent them from sticking together.

Conclusion:

Applesauce cookies are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. They are a great way to use up leftover applesauce, and they are also a healthier alternative to traditional cookies. These cookies are perfect for a quick snack or a special occasion.
