1 teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon cumin
1 tablespoon salt
1 teaspoon paprika
2 tablespoons parsley
1 chicken, cut up
4 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, crushed
4 potatoes, cubed, boiled
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 cups rice
1 1/2 teaspoons turmeric
4 cups water, boiling

Steps:

  • Mix turmeric, cinnamon, cumin, salt, paprika, and parsley together.
  • Rub mixture all over chicken.
  • Saute onion in butter and oil. l add garlic.
  • Brown chicken.
  • Take out put in a casserole dish.
