Tips:

  • Choose the right chicken. Boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs are the best choices for this dish. They will cook evenly and quickly, and they will not dry out.
  • Use fresh broccoli. Fresh broccoli has a better flavor and texture than frozen broccoli. If you are using frozen broccoli, be sure to thaw it completely before cooking.
  • Make sure your sauce is thick enough. The sauce should be thick enough to coat the chicken and broccoli without being too runny. If your sauce is too thin, add a little more cornstarch or flour.
  • Don't overcook the chicken or broccoli. The chicken and broccoli should be cooked through but still tender. Overcooking will make them tough and dry.
  • Serve immediately. Au gratin chicken and broccoli is best served immediately after it is cooked. The sauce will thicken as it cools, so it is important to serve it while it is still hot.

Conclusion:

Au gratin chicken and broccoli is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal. It is also a great way to use up leftover chicken. With a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time, you can create a meal that your whole family will enjoy.
