CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES WITH AVOCADO
I read that when baking you can replace half or all of the butter with mashed avocado to make it a little healthier. I got out my favorite cookie recipe from my dad and tried it. I replaced half the butter. They were still very yummy and I couldn't tell there was avocado in them.

PEANUT BUTTER AVOCADO COOKIES
I am always looking for good snacks that go along with my Nutritarian eating style. Avocado can be used instead of butter to make baked goods more nutritious. Leangreenbean.com had peanut butter chocolate chip cookies using avocado but I wanted to try a version without chocolate. These have turned out to be our favorite cookies. We usually have some in the freezer. They are good even without thawing. I frequently double the recipe so I can use the whole Hass avocado.

Tips:
- Use ripe avocados: Make sure your avocados are ripe and creamy before using them in these recipes. This will give your cookies a rich, decadent flavor.
- Don't overmix the dough: Overmixing the dough will make your cookies tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
- Chill the dough before baking: Chilling the dough for at least 30 minutes will help the cookies hold their shape better in the oven.
- Bake the cookies until they are just set: Overbaking the cookies will make them dry and crumbly. Bake just until the edges are golden brown and the centers are still slightly soft.
- Let the cookies cool completely before enjoying: This will allow the flavors to develop and the cookies to firm up.
