THE PAINKILLER COCKTAIL

Provided by Food Network

Yield 1 serving

Number Of Ingredients 5

2 oz Dark Rum (Pusser's recommended)
4 oz Pineapple Juice
1 oz Orange Juice
1 oz Coco Lopez, Cream of Coconut
Nutmeg, for garnish

Steps:

  • Fill large (beer or water) glass with ice. Pour all ingredients except the nutmeg into glass. Stir with long spoon until ingredients are mixed. Grate whole nutmeg on top of drink or sprinkle with ground nutmeg.

Tips:

  • Always use fresh fruits for the best flavor. Frozen or canned fruits can be used in a pinch, but they won't be as good as fresh.
  • Use a good quality rum. A dark rum will give the drink a richer flavor, while a light rum will make it more refreshing.
  • Don't be afraid to experiment with different juices and fruits. You can use any type of fruit juice that you like, and you can also add other fruits, such as berries or melon.
  • If you don't have cream of coconut, you can make your own by blending equal parts coconut milk and sweetened condensed milk.
  • Serve the Painkiller immediately after making it. The ice will melt quickly, so it's best to enjoy it while it's still cold.

Conclusion:

The Painkiller is a delicious and refreshing cocktail that is perfect for any occasion. It's easy to make and can be customized to your own taste. So next time you're looking for a tropical drink to enjoy, give the Painkiller a try. You won't be disappointed!
