1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon honey
2 tablespoons white sugar
1 tablespoon unbleached cane sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs

Steps:

  • Step 1:Heat oven to 350 F.
  • Step 2: Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a small pan, then add chopped apple. Stir and add honey, cane sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon. Then add raisins. Cook until apple soft.
  • Step 2: Mix eggs, milk, vanilla, nutmeg, cinnamon and whip until smooth.

  • Bake in oven in shallow pan of water for 45 minutes.
  • Serve warm or cold with vanilla ice-cream or whipped cream. Enjoy your dessert.

Tips:

  • Use ripe bananas. The riper the bananas, the sweeter and more flavorful your bread pudding will be.
  • Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing will result in a tough, dense bread pudding. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Use a variety of raisins. Different types of raisins will give your bread pudding a more complex flavor. Try using a combination of golden raisins, black raisins, and sultanas.
  • Soak the raisins in rum or brandy. This will plump up the raisins and add a delicious flavor to the bread pudding.
  • Use a well-greased baking dish. This will prevent the bread pudding from sticking to the pan.
  • Bake the bread pudding in a water bath. This will help to create a moist and tender bread pudding.
  • Serve the bread pudding warm with a dollop of whipped cream or ice cream.

Conclusion:

Banana raisin bread pudding is a delicious and easy-to-make dessert that is perfect for any occasion. With its simple ingredients and classic flavor, this bread pudding is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it. So next time you have some overripe bananas, don't throw them away!
