Steps:
- With a sharp knife, cut a lengthwise wedge out of each banana, slicing through the peel and almost through the banana. Carefully remove the wedge and set aside. Slice each candy bar into 3 slices the long way. Insert a slice of candy bar into the banana, then replace the wedge back over the candy, pushing the wedge back down. Repeat with remaining bananas; wrap the stuffed bananas tightly in aluminum foil.
- Roast the bananas in the coals of a campfire until the fruit is hot and the candy has melted, about 5 minutes. Unwrap the bananas, then remove peel from wedges and eat the bananas with spoons. Candy filling could be very hot, so use caution.

Tips:
- Selecting the Right Bananas: Choose bananas that are ripe and have a deep yellow color with brown spots. Avoid bananas that are greenish or have bruises.
- Preparing the Bananas: For most recipes, it's best to peel and slice the bananas into uniform rounds or chunks. For Banana Royale, you can also cut the bananas lengthwise.
- Chilling the Ingredients: Chilling the bananas and other ingredients before making the dessert helps create a smooth, creamy texture.
- Whipping the Cream: Use heavy cream with at least 36% fat content for the best results. Whip the cream until it forms stiff peaks.
- Folding the Ingredients: Gently fold the whipped cream into the banana mixture to maintain its airy texture.
- Layering and Chilling: Layer the dessert in a serving dish, alternating between banana slices, whipped cream, and crushed cookies. Chill the dessert for at least 2 hours before serving.
- Garnishing: Before serving, garnish the dessert with additional whipped cream, chocolate shavings, or chopped nuts for an elegant touch.
Conclusion:
Banana Royale is a classic dessert that combines the flavors of bananas, whipped cream, and cookies. With its creamy texture and delightful presentation, it's a perfect treat for special occasions or everyday enjoyment. Whether you follow the traditional recipe or explore variations with different flavors and toppings, this dessert is a versatile and delicious choice that will impress your friends and family.
