LINGUINE WITH SHRIMP SCAMPI - BAREFOOT CONTESSA INA GARTEN
This is a light pasta dish with plenty of shrimp, garlic, and lemon. I have reduced the amount of lemon and salt from the original recipe to suit my DBF's tastes. The leftovers are just as good heated up in the microwave the next day.

Tips:
- Use fresh shrimp: Fresh shrimp will give your scampi the best flavor. If you can't find fresh shrimp, frozen shrimp will work, but thaw them completely before using.
- Cook the shrimp properly: Shrimp cooks very quickly, so be careful not to overcook it. Cook the shrimp for just a few minutes per side, or until it is pink and opaque.
- Make sure the sauce is flavorful: The sauce is the key to this dish, so make sure it is flavorful. Use a good quality white wine, and add plenty of garlic, shallots, and herbs.
- Serve the scampi immediately: Scampi is best served immediately after it is cooked. If you need to keep it warm for a while, you can place it in a warm oven or on a warming tray.
Conclusion:
Barefoot Contessa's Linguine with Shrimp Scampi is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a special occasion or a weeknight meal. With its flavorful sauce, succulent shrimp, and al dente linguine, this dish is sure to please everyone at the table.
