Tips:

  • Choose the right tortillas: Corn or flour tortillas can be used, but corn tortillas are more traditional and have a slightly smoky flavor. Make sure the tortillas are fresh and pliable, not dry or brittle.
  • Cook the beef properly: Ground beef is the most common filling for beef tortillas, but you can also use shredded beef or steak. Season the beef with salt, pepper, and your favorite spices before cooking. Cook the beef until it is browned and cooked through, but not dry or overcooked.
  • Use fresh ingredients: The fresher the ingredients, the better your beef tortillas will taste. Use ripe tomatoes, crisp lettuce, and shredded cheese. You can also add other fillings, such as guacamole, sour cream, or salsa, to your liking.
  • Assemble the tortillas carefully: Place a tortilla on a plate and spread a thin layer of beans on it. Top with the cooked beef, cheese, and any other desired fillings. Fold the tortilla in half or roll it up tightly. You can also grill or pan-fry the tortillas for a crispy exterior.
