SEASONED BAKED POTATO WEDGES

Seasoned Baked Potato Wedges image

Recipe video above. Crunchy wedges seasoned so they taste like the wedges you can get from the freezer section at the supermarket! I found that the trick to make crunchy wedges is to use the right amount of oil. Too much results in soggy wedges and the seasoning comes off!

  • Cut the potatoes into even wedges: This will help them cook evenly. Aim for wedges that are about 1-inch thick and 2-inches long.
  • Toss the potatoes with olive oil, salt, and pepper: This will help them to brown and crisp in the oven. You can also add other seasonings, such as garlic powder, paprika, or chili powder.
  • Bake the potato wedges at a high temperature: This will help them to crisp up. Aim for a temperature of 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Flip the potato wedges halfway through cooking: This will help them to cook evenly. Use a spatula to carefully flip the wedges over.
  • Serve the potato wedges hot: They are best enjoyed when they are hot and crispy. You can serve them with your favorite dipping sauce.
