HEALING BLUEBERRY ALOE SMOOTHIE

Healing Blueberry Aloe Smoothie image

There aren't very many things better than this when it comes to helping our your body. Plus, it's yummy. And if it's too "fruity" for you, you can always add a scoop of non-fat frogurt to make it thick and creamy, I suppose :) To harvest the aloe vera gel, use a knife to filet away all of the green skin and any of the red veins along the inside. Then just toss it in the blender. I also usually add a teaspoon of lemon-flavored fish oil for Omega-3's, but this is not necessary. Aloe vera is known to cure ulcers, Crohn's, fight cancer and disease and do so many wonderful things!

Tips for Making a Perfect Booberry Yogo Smoothie:

  • Use frozen fruit. Frozen fruit is key to getting a thick, creamy smoothie. If you don't have frozen blueberries, you can freeze them yourself by spreading them out on a baking sheet and placing them in the freezer for at least an hour.
  • Add a little yogurt. Yogurt adds protein and creaminess to the smoothie. You can use any type of yogurt you like, but Greek yogurt is a good choice because it's thick and creamy.
  • Use a high-powered blender. A high-powered blender is essential for getting a smooth, lump-free smoothie. If you don't have a high-powered blender, you can use a regular blender, but you may need to blend the smoothie for longer.
  • Add a little bit of honey or maple syrup to taste. This will help to balance out the tartness of the blueberries.
  • Serve immediately. Smoothies are best enjoyed immediately after they are made. If you need to store the smoothie, you can do so in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.

Conclusion:

The booberry yogo smoothie is a delicious and refreshing way to start your day. It's packed with nutrients and antioxidants, and it's easy to make. So next time you're looking for a healthy and satisfying breakfast or snack, give this smoothie a try. You won't be disappointed!
