Tips:
- Choose the freshest vegetables possible. Fresh vegetables will have a more vibrant color, better flavor, and more nutrients.
- Use a sharp knife or mandoline to thinly slice the vegetables. This will help them cook evenly and absorb the dressing better.
- Don't overcrowd the pan when cooking the vegetables. If the vegetables are too crowded, they will not cook evenly and will become mushy.
- Dress the slaw immediately after cooking the vegetables. This will help the vegetables absorb the dressing and prevent them from becoming dry.
- Serve the slaw chilled. Chilled slaw is more refreshing and flavorful.
Conclusion:
Broccoli carrot and snow pea slaw is a delicious and healthy dish that is perfect for a summer picnic or potluck. It is also a great way to get your kids to eat their vegetables. With its colorful vegetables, tangy dressing, and crunchy texture, this slaw is sure to be a hit.
