BROCCOLI CHEESE SQUARES

Broccoli Cheese Squares image

So incredibly good you will not believe how easy they are to make. A family secret recipe that leaves lots of room for interpretation. We eat these a lot in the summer for dinner with a salad and a loaf of good bread. YUM! But be sure that if adding cooked ingredients, allow them to cool a bit before adding milk and eggs so they don't start to scramble. Eat lukewarm for best flavor or warm.

Tips:

  • Prepare the broccoli properly: Cut the broccoli into small florets and steam or blanch them until tender but still slightly crunchy.
  • Use fresh, high-quality ingredients: The better the ingredients you use, the better your broccoli squares will taste.
  • Don't overcook the broccoli: Overcooked broccoli will become mushy and lose its flavor.
  • Season the broccoli squares well: Use a variety of herbs and spices to flavor the broccoli squares, such as garlic, onion, salt, and pepper.
  • Bake the broccoli squares until golden brown: This will give them a crispy exterior and a tender interior.
  • Serve the broccoli squares warm: Broccoli squares are best served warm, with a dipping sauce or your favorite side dish.
