Steps:
- 1. Combine all ingredients in a blender until well mixed. Makes 1 2/3 cups.
Tips:
- Choose fresh, high-quality ingredients: Fresh celery seeds have a more intense flavor than older seeds, and good-quality mayonnaise will make a big difference in the overall taste of the dressing.
- Adjust the ingredients to your taste: The recipe is a starting point, so feel free to adjust the proportions of the ingredients to suit your own preferences. If you like a tangier dressing, add more lemon juice or vinegar. If you prefer a sweeter dressing, add more honey or sugar. You can also add other herbs and spices to taste, such as dill, tarragon, or black pepper.
- Let the dressing chill for at least 30 minutes before serving: This will allow the flavors to meld together and develop.
- Store the dressing in a covered container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks: The dressing will keep for longer, but the flavor will start to deteriorate after 2 weeks.
Conclusion:
Celery seed dressing is a versatile dressing that can be used on a variety of dishes, from salads to sandwiches to chicken or fish. It's easy to make and can be tailored to your own taste preferences. With its unique and flavorful taste, celery seed dressing is a great way to add a pop of flavor to your meals.
