CHEATER BAKED BEANS

These are just delicious, and since you start with canned beans I call them cheater beans. Must be the molasses and brown sugar and bacon, because this is one of my favorite sides. I even eat these as a snack with brad and butter.

  • Add some smoked meat to your baked beans. This will give them a delicious smoky flavor. Some good options include bacon, ham, and sausage.
  • Use a flavorful sauce for your baked beans. This could be a simple tomato sauce, a barbecue sauce, or a molasses-based sauce. You can also add some spices, such as chili powder, cumin, and garlic powder, to the sauce for extra flavor.
  • Bake your baked beans on low heat for a long time. This will help them develop a deep, rich flavor. Aim to cook them for at least 8 hours, or even overnight.
