Tips:

  • Ensure accurate measurements: Precise measurements are essential for successful baking. Utilize a kitchen scale for measuring ingredients, particularly flour and sugar, to achieve consistent results.
  • Cream butter and sugar thoroughly: This step helps incorporate air into the mixture, resulting in a light and fluffy texture. Creaming for at least 2 minutes is recommended to obtain the desired texture.
  • Fold dry ingredients gently: When combining dry ingredients with wet ingredients, use a spatula and fold gently to avoid overmixing. Overmixing can lead to dense and chewy brownies.
  • Do not overmix the batter: Overmixing the batter can develop the gluten in the flour, resulting in tough and chewy brownies. Mix just until the ingredients are well combined.
  • Bake brownies until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with just a few moist crumbs attached: Overbaking can dry out the brownies, so keep a close eye on them during baking.
  • Allow brownies to cool completely before cutting: This allows the brownies to set properly and prevents them from falling apart.
