- In a large bowl, cut butter into cake mix until crumbly. Set aside 1 cup for topping. Pat remaining crumbs onto the bottom and 1/2 in. up the sides of a greased 13x9-in. baking pan. , Spread pie filling over crust. Combine the walnuts with reserved crumbs; sprinkle over top. Bake at 350° for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown. Cut into bars.

- 1. Preheat oven to 350- degrees. In a 9x13 inch baking pan, pour in the two cans of cherry pie filling. Sprinkle the cake mix on top of pie mix and top with the sliced butter pieces. Place them all over the top of the cake. Bake in preheated oven for one hour. Serve with ice cream for a delicious treat
- 2. Here are just a couple of ideas to use this recipe. Layer bottom of dish with two cans of strawberry pie filling. Sprinkle top with a strawberry cake mix. Dot top with butter. Bake at 350 for an hour. Top with whipped cream or strawberry ice cream
