Tips:

  • For the best flavor, use fresh, ripe cherries. If using frozen cherries, thaw them completely before using.
  • To prevent the cherries from sinking to the bottom of the cake, toss them with a little bit of flour before adding them to the batter.
  • If you don't have a cherry pitter, you can use a paring knife to remove the pits. Just be careful not to cut yourself.
  • If you're using a store-bought pie crust, be sure to pre-bake it according to the package directions.
  • To make sure the cake is cooked through, insert a toothpick into the center. If it comes out clean, the cake is done.

Conclusion:

Cherry pie cake is a delicious and easy-to-make dessert that's perfect for any occasion. With its sweet and tart cherries, flaky crust, and creamy filling, it's sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it. So next time you're looking for a special treat, give cherry pie cake a try.
