  • Use fresh cherries. Fresh cherries will give your cherry ring the best flavor and texture. If you can't find fresh cherries, you can use frozen cherries, but be sure to thaw them before using.
  • Pit the cherries. Be sure to pit the cherries before using them in the cherry ring. You can use a cherry pitter to make this task easier.
  • Use a bundt pan. A bundt pan is the perfect shape for a cherry ring. It will give the ring a beautiful shape and allow the cherries to evenly distribute throughout the cake.
  • Grease and flour the pan. Be sure to grease and flour the bundt pan before adding the batter. This will help the cake to release from the pan easily.
  • Bake the cake according to the recipe instructions. The baking time will vary depending on the recipe you are using. Be sure to check the cake for doneness before removing it from the oven.
  • Let the cake cool before inverting it. Once the cake is done baking, let it cool for a few minutes before inverting it onto a serving plate. This will help to prevent the cake from breaking.
