CHEWIEST BROWNIES

In my opinion, a brownie isn't a brownie unless it has some "bite" to it. It needs to be dense and chewy not "caky". This brownie recipe fits the bill and I've tried many recipies. Although this recipe does not call for frosting...it tastes a lot better with your favorite chocolate icing.

Tips:

  • Use high-quality chocolate. The chocolate is the main ingredient in brownies, so it's important to use a good one. Look for a chocolate with a high cocoa content (at least 70%) and a rich flavor.
  • Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing the batter will make the brownies tough. Mix the ingredients until they are just combined, then stop.
  • Bake the brownies at a moderate temperature. Baking the brownies at a too high temperature will make them dry and crumbly. Bake them at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with just a few moist crumbs attached.
  • Let the brownies cool completely before cutting them. Cutting the brownies while they are still warm will make them fall apart. Let them cool completely on a wire rack before cutting them into squares.

Conclusion:

These are just a few tips for making the chewiest brownies. With a little practice, you'll be able to make perfect brownies every time. So next time you're in the mood for a chocolatey treat, give one of these recipes a try.
