Cumin-Roasted Salmon With Cilantro Sauce image

Roasting a whole fillet of fish might seem like a weekend-only treat, but cooking salmon this way is a luxury you should allow yourself on any old Tuesday, as it requires no additional preparation or skill. Be sure to slather the vinegary herb sauce on the still-warm salmon to allow the warm spices and fresh herbs to get to know each other better.

Tips:

  • Choose the right salmon fillet. Opt for a thick, center-cut fillet that is about 1 inch thick. This will ensure that the salmon cooks evenly and stays moist.
  • Roast the salmon at a high temperature. This will help to create a crispy crust on the outside while keeping the inside moist and flaky.
  • Use a flavorful marinade. The marinade will help to infuse the salmon with flavor and keep it moist during cooking. Try a marinade made with olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and herbs.
  • Roast the salmon on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper. This will help to prevent the salmon from sticking to the pan and make cleanup a breeze.
  • Serve the salmon with a flavorful sauce. A simple cilantro cream sauce is a great option. You can also try a lemon butter sauce or a salsa verde.

Conclusion:

Chili roasted salmon with cilantro cream is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for any occasion. The salmon is moist and flaky, with a crispy crust. The cilantro cream sauce is flavorful and adds a touch of creaminess. This dish is sure to be a hit with your family and friends.
