When my grandmother brings these to any sort of family function, they are gone before you know it! Special requests are always made for these brownies.

1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine, softened
1 cup white sugar
1 (16 ounce) can hershey chocolate syrup
4 eggs
1 cup flour
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
1 1/2 cups white sugar
6 tablespoons margarine
6 tablespoons milk
1/2 cup chocolate chips

Steps:

  • For the Brownies:.
  • Cream butter and sugar.
  • Add eggs and chocolate syrup. Mix until well blended.
  • Add flour and mix well.
  • Add nuts.
  • Bake in a 9 x 13-inch cake pan for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
  • For the Frosting:
  • Boil sugar, margarine, and milk for 1 minute.
  • Remove from heat and add l/2 cup chocolate chips.
  • Stir until thick, then quickly spread over brownies (when brownies are cool). This frosting thickens quickly.

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • In a bowl, cream together butter,sugar and eggs until very creamy and well blended.
  • Add salt.
  • Stir in flour,mixing to blend well.
  • Add chocolate syrup, vanilla and chopped nuts.

1 c all purpose flour
3/4 c chocolate-flavored syrup, canned
2 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 c chopped walnuts or pecans
GARNISH
pecans or walnuts
powdered sugar

Steps:

  • 1. Cream together butter and sugar until smooth and creamy.
  • 2. Add eggs, one at a time. Add salt.
  • 3. Stir in chocolate syrup, flour and vanilla. Add nuts and stir to blend well.
  • 4. Turn into greased and lightly floured 8-inch square microsafe pan or dish.
  • 5. Microwave at HIGH power for about 3 minutes. Let rest for 3 minutes.
  • 6. Microwave at HIGH power for another 3 minutes and let rest for 3 minutes.

4 eggs
1 (16 ounce) can chocolate syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 ⅛ cups all-purpose flour
½ cup chopped walnuts
⅓ cup evaporated milk
¼ cup butter
1 ½ cups white sugar
½ cup semisweet chocolate chips
½ cup chopped walnuts

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Place 1/2 cup butter, 1 cup sugar, eggs, chocolate syrup, vanilla, flour and 1/2 cup nuts in a mixing bowl; beat well. Spread batter in a 15 x 12 inch pan.
