EASY HOMEMADE PEANUT BUTTER OR CHOCOLATE MAGIC SHELL TOPPING

Easy Homemade Peanut Butter or Chocolate Magic Shell Topping image

Just like the real thing, don't just use this for ice cream, drizzle it on top of frozen desserts--- I would strongly suggest to only use margarine for this, I have made it with butter in the past and the butter overpowers the flavor ;-)

Tips:

  • Use high-quality chocolate: The better the chocolate, the tastier the cookies will be. Opt for a semisweet or bittersweet chocolate with a cocoa content of at least 60%.
  • Don't overmix the dough: Overmixing can make the cookies tough. Mix the dough just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Chill the dough before baking: Chilling the dough helps the cookies hold their shape and prevents them from spreading too much in the oven.
  • Bake the cookies until the edges are just set: The cookies should be slightly soft in the center. If you bake them too long, they will be dry and crumbly.
  • Let the cookies cool completely before dipping them in chocolate: This will help the chocolate adhere to the cookies better.
  • Use a variety of toppings: You can use chopped nuts, sprinkles, or even sea salt to add extra flavor and texture to the cookies.

Conclusion:

Chocolate-topped peanut butter spritz cookies are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that is perfect for any occasion. With their rich chocolate flavor and creamy peanut butter filling, these cookies are sure to be a hit with everyone who tries them.
