My son, Jeremy, is 36 but acts as if he's 5 when he sees these brownies-I've been making them for more than 30 years! My daughter, Jayme, and my four grandchildren love them, too. If you're short on time, a boxed mix works just fine. -Jeannine Schneider, Fremont, California

Tips:

  • To make the perfect brownie base, use a high-quality cocoa powder and melted unsalted butter. Creaming together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy will help to create a chewy brownie.
  • For a fudgy brownie, use a combination of melted chocolate and cocoa powder. This will give the brownies a rich, chocolatey flavor and a dense, moist texture.
  • To make the brownies extra special, add in your favorite mix-ins. Some popular options include chopped nuts, dried fruit, and chocolate chips. Get creative and experiment with different flavors to find your perfect combination.
  • Don't overbake the brownies! This is the most common mistake that people make when baking brownies. The brownies should be baked until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with just a few moist crumbs attached.
  • Let the brownies cool completely before cutting them into squares. This will help to prevent them from crumbling.

Conclusion:

Christmas tree brownies are a fun and festive way to celebrate the holiday season. They're easy to make and can be decorated in a variety of ways. With a little creativity, you can create a Christmas tree brownie that is sure to impress your friends and family.
