8 ounces uncooked linguine
2/3 cup chopped onion
2 garlic cloves, minced
1-1/2 teaspoons dried oregano
3 tablespoons butter
3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
3/4 cup shredded Swiss cheese
3/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
1 pound cooked small shrimp, peeled and deveined

Steps:

1 pound uncooked large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/4 cup butter, cubed
2 cups heavy whipping cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

IF YOU LIKE REALLY SAUCY- MAKE ANOTHER 1/2 OF SAUCE RECIPE
1 Tbsp butter + 1 tablespoon olive oil
1 1/2 lb med - large - peeled and deviened shrimp
1 lb linguine pasta - cooked according to pkg
1 stick butter
2 large garlic cloves. minced
2 Tbsp softened, cream cheese
2 c heavy cream
1 tsp garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste
3/4 c fresh shredded parmesan cheese
fresh parsley, minced

Steps:

  • 1. In a medium skillet over medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon butter and add 1 tablespoon olive oil. Once hot - add the shrimp and cook on one side until edges are turning white, then turn to other side and cook another minute. Don't overcook. Set aside. In a large saucepan, melt 1 stick of butter and add the garlic, cook a few minutes - stirring. Add the cream cheese and once melted add the cream. Stir in the seasoning. Simmer for 14 - 18 minutes, then stir in the Parmesan cheese and remove from heat. Taste for seasoning adjustments. Stir in parsley and the shrimp. Toss with hot cooked pasta. Enjoy!
