Yield 1 1/3 cups

Number Of Ingredients 1

See below

Steps:

  • In small bowl stir together 3/4 cup real mayonnaise, 1/3 cup light corn syrup, 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard, 1/8 teaspoon salt and dash pepper until smooth. Add 1/3 cup finely chopped plums or nectarines or peeled peaches; stir until well blended. Cover; chill 2 hours to blend flavors. Serve over cooked cubed meat or poultry, and sliced fruit and vegetables.

Tips:

  • To make a creamy mustard dressing that is smooth and lump-free, whisk the ingredients together in a bowl until well combined. If you are using a blender, blend on low speed until the dressing is emulsified.
  • For a tangy dressing, use a sharp mustard such as Dijon or brown mustard. For a milder flavor, use a yellow or sweet mustard.
  • Add some honey or maple syrup to the dressing for a touch of sweetness. You can also add some herbs, such as dill or tarragon, for extra flavor.
  • If you are making the dressing ahead of time, store it in a covered container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Serve the dressing with salads, sandwiches, or roasted vegetables.

Conclusion:

Creamy mustard dressing is a versatile and delicious dressing that can be used on a variety of dishes. It is easy to make and can be tailored to your own taste preferences. Whether you like it tangy, sweet, or mild, there is a creamy mustard dressing out there for you.
