Tips:
- Choose the right cut of chicken: Chicken breasts or thighs are both good choices for this recipe. If you're using breasts, you may want to pound them thin so they cook evenly.
- Brown the chicken before cooking: Browning the chicken in a skillet before adding it to the slow cooker will help to develop flavor and prevent the chicken from becoming dry.
- Use fresh cherries: Fresh cherries are best for this recipe, but you can also use frozen cherries that have been thawed. If you're using frozen cherries, be sure to drain them well before adding them to the slow cooker.
- Add a little bit of sugar: The sugar in this recipe helps to balance out the tartness of the cherries. You can adjust the amount of sugar to your liking.
- Serve immediately: This dish is best served immediately after it's cooked. The chicken will become dry if it sits for too long.
Conclusion:
Crock-Pot Chicken and Cherries Jubilee is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that's perfect for a weeknight meal. The chicken is tender and juicy, and the cherries add a sweet and tart flavor. This dish is sure to be a hit with your family and friends.
