1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

2 tablespoons chopped almonds
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup cold butter
