I got this recipe from my sister about 10 years ago. My daughter used to ask for it a lot when she was smaller and still enjoys it today. It is a nice variation on pork chops. Enjoy!

1 medium onion, chopped small
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 tablespoon brown sugar
4 tablespoons ketchup
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1/3 cup soy sauce
4 -6 pork chops (1 inch thick)

Steps:

  • Place chops in an oven safe 9x13 casserole dish.
  • Mix remaining ingredients together well.
  • Pour mixture over chops.
  • Marinate in fridge for about an hour (this step is not necessary if you are pressed for time).
  • Bake in 350F oven for an hour.
  • Serve with rice or mashed potatoes.

4 pork chops, 1-inch thick (4 - 6 chops)
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 small onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup apple cider or 1/2 cup apple juice
1 cup chili sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
1/4 teaspoon curry powder

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Trim fat from pork chops.
  • Slash the sides with a knife, in two or three places.
  • Brown the chops in oil.
  • Place the chops in a single layer in a large cooking dish.
  • Blend all remaining ingredients together and pour over the pork chops.
  • Cover with tinfoil and bake for 1 hour in a 350°F oven.

3 tbsp Heinz chili sauce
1 1/2 tbsp lemon juice
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp dry mustard
1/4 tsp paprika
1/8 tsp curry powder
shake of pepper
1 cup of water (or so... depends how thick you want the sauce after it reduces)
4-6 lamb or pork chops
1.5 cups cooked egg noodles
1 tbsp poppy seeds
1.5 tsp butter

Steps:

  • 1. Mix the following ingredients together to make sauce: - 3 tbsp Heinz chili sauce - 1 1/2 tbsp lemon juice - 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce - 1/4 tsp dry mustard - 1/4 tsp paprika - 1/8 tsp curry powder - shake of pepper - 1 cup of water (or so... depends how thick you want the sauce after it reduces) 2. Brown chops in a little oil (quickly) 3. Pour sauce on top of the chops and turn the heat down between medium and low 4. Simmer uncovered for 20 minutes 5. Meanwhile... make egg noodles according to the package directions 6. When egg noodles are finished, mix a little butter in and add some poppy seeds 7. Serve and enjoy!! :)

2 TBS unsalted butter
1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
Kosher salt and pepper
1/4 c Dijon mustard
2t packed brown sugar
1 1/2t dry mustard
1/2t minced garlic made into paste
1/4t cayenne peppy
4 6-8 OZ boneless pork chops

Steps:

  • 1. Oven 275 degrees, rack in middle position 2. Melt butter in 10" skillet, medium heat. Add panko and cook, stirring frequently until golden brown about 3-5 minutes. Tx to bowl and sprinkle w/ 1/8t salt. 3. Stir Dijon, sugar, dry mustard, garlic, cayenne 1t salt and 1t pepper in second bowl until smooth 4. Wire rack in rimmed baking sheet and spray w/ PAM. Pat chops dry w/ paper towels. Tx chops to prepared rack, spacing them 1" apart. Brush 1 TBS mustard mixture over top and sides of each chops (Leave bottoms uncoated). Spoon 2 TBS toasted panko evenly over top of each chop and press lightly to adhere 5. Roast at 275 degrees (yes 275 degrees) 40 to 50 minutes. Remove from oven and let rest on rack for 10" before serving.

Tips:

  • If you don't have a meat thermometer, cook the pork chops over medium heat for about 10 minutes per side, or until they are cooked through.
