Tips:

  • To make the best Dijon vinaigrette, use a high-quality Dijon mustard. This will give the dressing a rich, complex flavor.
  • Use fresh herbs, such as parsley, chives, or tarragon, to add a pop of flavor to the dressing.
  • If you don't have any fresh herbs on hand, you can use dried herbs instead. Just be sure to use less, as dried herbs are more concentrated.
  • Use a good quality olive oil. This will help to balance out the acidity of the vinegar.
  • If you want a thicker dressing, you can add a little bit of honey or maple syrup.
  • If you want a lighter dressing, you can add a little bit of water or white wine vinegar.
  • Be sure to taste the dressing before serving and adjust the seasonings to your liking.

Conclusion:

Dijon vinaigrette is a versatile dressing that can be used on a variety of dishes. It's perfect for steamed broccoli, but it can also be used on salads, roasted vegetables, or even grilled chicken or fish. It's a healthy and delicious way to add flavor to your meals.
