2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (8 ounces)
4 eggs, beaten
2 cups milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Steps:

  • Melt butter in 1-quart saucepan over medium heat. Cook leeks in butter about 3 minutes, stirring frequently, until softened; remove from heat.
  • Cut enough bread into 1-inch cubes to measure 5 cups. Mix bread cubes, leeks, chicken and dill weed. Spread bread mixture in ungreased square baking dish, 8x8x2 inches. Sprinkle with cheese. Mix remaining ingredients; pour over cheese. Cover tightly and refrigerate at least 4 hours but no longer than 24 hours.

8 eggs, beaten
4 cups milk
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Steps:

  • In 2-quart saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add leeks; cook about 3 minutes, stirring frequently, until softened. Remove from heat.

10 cups bread cubes (1/2-inch cubes)
2 cups cubed cooked chicken
1 cup diced potatoes
1 cup finely chopped celery
1/2 cup finely chopped carrot
1/4 cup minced fresh parsley
4 cups milk
2 cups chicken broth
5 eggs, lightly beaten
1/4 cup butter, melted and cooled
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 to 2 jars (12 ounces each) chicken gravy, warmed, optional

1 medium onion, finely chopped
3 celery ribs, finely chopped
6 ounces asparagus, woody stems discarded, cut into 1 inch pieces
1/4 cup water
4 cups cubed cooked chicken (1 inch cubes)
1 cup mayonnaise
1 1/2 cups milk
1 1/2 cups chicken broth
6 large eggs
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
1 tablespoon chopped chives
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
6 cups cubed French bread (1 inch cubes)
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Heat butter in large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and celery and cook uncovered, stirring occasionally, about 5 minutes. Add asparagus, water and cover.
