My husband would eat this for dinner every night if I would let him. It took his family 10 years of marriage to share this secret recipe with me (apparently, I wasn't family yet), so now I'm sharing it with the world. Hope you like it!

- Bake the meatballs and sauce in the preheated oven until the sauce is bubbling and thickened and the meatballs are no longer pink inside, about 1 1/2 hours. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center of a meatball should read at least 160 degrees F (70 degrees C).

EASY BAKED MEATBALLS WITH TWO SAUCE OPTIONS
What an easy recipe, and only 4 ingredients. This was on the cover of the newest issue of Kraft's "What's Cooking" magazine. I did add minced garlic and some Italian seasoning....just couldn't help myself :) I baked the meatballs on a rack to eliminate excess fat. Two sauce options were given as serving suggestions. I have listed them in the instructions so that they will not interfere with the nutritional values of the meatballs. These are terrific for freezing, making future meals even faster.

TWO MEATBALLS IN ONE
This is a sweet Italian sausage meatball tucked inside of a beef meatball. Very yummy and a great conversation starter. This is a labor intensive effort, but it is one of the most flavorful and moist meatballs I've ever eaten. It is also a very fun way to serve a very standard but beloved dish. Serve with your favorite pasta.

Tips:
- Choose high-quality ground beef for the meatballs. A blend of chuck and sirloin works well.
- Don't overmix the meatball mixture. Overmixing can make the meatballs tough.
- Use a small cookie scoop to portion the meatball mixture. This will help ensure that the meatballs are all the same size and cook evenly.
- Brown the meatballs in a skillet before baking them. This will help to seal in the juices and prevent the meatballs from drying out.
- Use a variety of herbs and spices in the meatball mixture. This will add flavor and depth to the finished meatballs.
- Serve the meatballs with your favorite sauce. The recipes in this article include two sauce options: a classic tomato sauce and a creamy mushroom sauce.
