Tips:
- Tenderizing the Meat: To ensure a tender and juicy pork chop, use a meat mallet or a fork to tenderize the meat before cooking. This helps break down the muscle fibers, making the meat more receptive to the breading and seasonings.
- Seasoning the Pork Chops: Before breading, season the pork chops generously with salt, pepper, and any other desired spices or herbs. This will enhance the flavor of the meat and make it more flavorful.
- Creating a Flavorful Breading: For a crispy and flavorful breading, use a combination of panko breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and dried parsley. This combination provides a nice balance of textures and flavors.
- Dredging the Pork Chops: To ensure that the breading adheres properly, dredge the pork chops in flour before dipping them in the egg wash and then the breadcrumb mixture. This creates a crispy outer layer that locks in the moisture and flavor of the meat.
- Cooking the Pork Chops: Pan-frying is a quick and easy way to cook the pork chops. Use a large skillet with enough oil to cover the bottom. Heat the oil over medium-high heat and cook the pork chops for 3-4 minutes per side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
