Tips:

  • Use dried chickpeas: Dried chickpeas are more flavorful and have a better texture than canned chickpeas. If you don't have time to soak and cook dried chickpeas, you can use canned chickpeas, but be sure to rinse them well and pat them dry before using.
  • Season the chickpeas well: The chickpeas are the main ingredient in falafel, so it's important to season them well. Use a combination of herbs, spices, and salt and pepper to taste.
  • Don't overprocess the chickpeas: Overprocessing the chickpeas will make the falafel dry and crumbly. Pulse the chickpeas in a food processor until they are finely chopped, but not pureed.
  • Form the falafel into balls or patties: You can form the falafel into balls or patties. If you're making balls, be sure to pack them tightly so they don't fall apart when you fry them.
  • Fry the falafel until golden brown: Fry the falafel in hot oil until they are golden brown and crispy on the outside. Be careful not to overcrowd the pan, or the falafel will not cook evenly.
  • Serve the falafel hot: Falafel is best served hot, with a side of tahini sauce, hummus, or tzatziki sauce.

Conclusion:

Falafel sliders are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer or main course. They're perfect for parties, potlucks, or a quick and healthy meal. With a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time, you can make delicious falafel sliders that everyone will love.
