1 cup fat-free Italian salad dressing
1 tablespoon honey
2 tablespoons dried red pepper flakes
1 large red bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 large green bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces

24 (6 inch) wooden skewers (soak in water for 30 minutes before using or in Garlic Herb: Infused Skewers (#4))

Steps:

  • Place pork cubes in zip lock bag; add salad dressing, honey, red pepper flakes peppers and onions. Seal bag; refrigerate for at least 1 hour to overnight to marinate.

Tips:

  • Choose the right cut of pork: Pork shoulder or pork loin are both good choices for skewers. They are relatively inexpensive and flavorful cuts of meat.
  • Cut the pork into small pieces: This will help them cook evenly and quickly.
  • Marinate the pork: Marinating the pork will help to tenderize it and add flavor. You can use a variety of marinades, such as a simple mixture of olive oil, garlic, and rosemary, or a more complex marinade with ingredients like soy sauce, honey, and ginger.
  • Skewer the pork: Use wooden or metal skewers to skewer the pork pieces. Make sure to leave some space between the pieces so that they can cook evenly.
  • Cook the skewers: You can cook the skewers on a grill, in a pan, or in the oven. If you are grilling the skewers, cook them over medium heat for about 10 minutes per side, or until the pork is cooked through.
  • Serve the skewers: Serve the skewers with your favorite dipping sauce, such as a spicy peanut sauce or a sweet and sour sauce.
