Tips:
- Use fresh pineapple for the best flavor. If using canned pineapple, be sure to drain it well.
- Be sure to cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. This will help to create a flaky crust.
- Be careful not to overmix the batter. Overmixing will make the bars tough.
- Spread the batter evenly in the pan. If the batter is too thick, it will be difficult to spread.
- Bake the bars until they are golden brown. If the bars are underbaked, they will be too soft.
- Let the bars cool completely before cutting them. This will help to prevent them from falling apart.
Conclusion:
Flaky pineapple bars are a delicious and easy-to-make treat. They are perfect for any occasion, from potlucks to bake sales. With their sweet and tangy flavor, these bars are sure to be a hit with everyone who tries them.
