Tips:
- Use fresh ground flaxseed. Pre-ground flaxseed can become rancid quickly, so it's best to grind your own just before using it. You can do this in a coffee grinder or food processor.
- Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing can make the brownies tough, so be sure to mix just until the ingredients are combined.
- Bake the brownies until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with just a few moist crumbs attached. Overbaking will make the brownies dry and crumbly.
- Let the brownies cool completely before cutting them. This will help them to hold their shape and prevent them from falling apart.
- Store the brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. You can also freeze them for up to 2 months.
Conclusion:
Flaxseed brownies are a delicious and healthy treat that are perfect for any occasion. They are easy to make and can be customized to your liking. With their rich chocolate flavor and chewy texture, these brownies are sure to be a hit with everyone who tries them. Plus, they are packed with nutrients like omega-3 fatty acids, fiber, and antioxidants. So next time you are looking for a sweet treat, reach for a flaxseed brownie instead of a traditional brownie.
