Tips:

  • Use fresh seasonal vegetables: The key to a great garden salad is using fresh, in-season vegetables. This will ensure that your salad is packed with flavor and nutrients.
  • Variety is key: Don't be afraid to mix and match different types of vegetables in your salad. The more variety, the more interesting and delicious your salad will be.
  • Don't overdress your salad: A little bit of dressing goes a long way. Too much dressing can overwhelm the flavors of the vegetables.
  • Use high-quality olive oil: Olive oil is a great way to add flavor and healthy fats to your salad. Make sure to use a high-quality extra virgin olive oil.
  • Add some herbs or spices: Herbs and spices can add a lot of flavor to your salad. Some popular options include basil, oregano, thyme, rosemary, and garlic.
  • Serve your salad immediately: Garden salads are best served immediately after they are made. This will prevent the vegetables from wilting and losing their flavor.
