4 assorted fully cooked sausages (such as bratwurst and knockwurst)
2 cups chopped onions

Tips:

  • Selecting the right pork chops: Choose pork chops that are at least 1-inch thick and have a good amount of marbling. This will ensure that they stay juicy and flavorful during cooking.
  • Preparing the pork chops: Before cooking, pat the pork chops dry with paper towels to remove any excess moisture. This will help the marinade or seasoning to adhere better and prevent the meat from steaming.
  • Marinating the pork chops: Marinating the pork chops for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight, will help to infuse them with flavor and make them more tender. Use a marinade that contains acidic ingredients, such as citrus juice or vinegar, to help break down the proteins in the meat.
  • Cooking the pork chops: Cook the pork chops over medium heat to prevent them from drying out. Use a meat thermometer to ensure that the pork chops are cooked to an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit for medium-rare, or 160 degrees Fahrenheit for medium.
  • Resting the pork chops: After cooking, let the pork chops rest for 5-10 minutes before serving. This will allow the juices to redistribute throughout the meat, resulting in a more tender and flavorful chop.
