2 cups cake flour
4 tablespoons baking powder
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ cup unsalted butter, softened
½ cup white sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1 tablespoon sour cream
½ cup milk
6 fresh mint leaves, thinly sliced
2 fresh basil leaves, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger root
6 fresh peaches - peeled, pitted and chopped

Steps:

  • Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 10-inch Bundt pan.

1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 can (15-1/4 ounces) sliced peaches, drained and patted dry
1/4 cup red candied cherries, halved
1 package (14-1/2 ounces) gingerbread cake/cookie mix

  • In a small bowl, combine butter and brown sugar. Spoon into an ungreased 10-in. fluted tube pan. 6 large very ripe fresh peaches (about 2¼ pounds)
1 cup (204 grams) granulated sugar

1 (2-inch) piece fresh ginger, peeled and grated (about 2 tablespoons)

  • Preheat the oven to 350° F. Spray a 10-inch pan with nonstick vegetable oil spray and smear the bottom and side evenly with ¼ cup of the butter.
