2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 cup canola oil
4 large eggs, beaten
3/4 cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon butter flavoring
1 can (15 ounces) solid-pack pumpkin
1 cup raisins
1 cup chopped pecans

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, sift together flour, soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Add sugar, oil, eggs and buttermilk. Mix well. Stir in flavorings, pumpkin, raisins and pecans. 1/3 cup maple syrup

⅔ cup shortening
1 (16 ounce) can pumpkin puree
4 eggs
⅔ cup water
3 ⅓ cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 ½ teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground cloves
½ teaspoon baking powder
⅔ cup pecan nuts
⅔ cup raisins
