Time 4h20m

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 cup orange juice
1 cup apple juice
1 cup cranberry juice
1 cup red grape juice
4 cups water
3-4 food safe gloves ((I used vinyl gloves))
5-6 cups tonic water ((regular or diet))
blacklight
glow in the dark witch fingers ((optional))

Steps:

  • Open tonic water and allow the carbonation to settle for a few minutes.
  • Pour tonic water into food safe gloves, leaving enough space to tie a knot.
  • Add filled and tied gloves to a flat tray and freeze 4 hours or overnight, until solid.
  • Add all punch ingredients into a large pitcher or container, stirring to combine.
  • Chill for at least 1 hour in the fridge.
  • Add chilled punch into a serving bowl.
  • Remove frozen gloves from freezer. Wipe each frozen glove with a hot wet paper towel to help loosen the glove from the ice inside.
  • Cut away knot at top of glove, then continue to cut and peel the rest of the glove away from the ice hand.
  • Add ice hands into bowl with chilled red punch (with glow-in-the-dark witch fingers, if desired).

DRAGON'S BLOOD PUNCH AND HAND ICE MOLD

Dragon's Blood Punch and Hand Ice Mold image

Halloween fun for everyone (you can add some vodka or rum for the adults...but you didn't hear that from me!). I'm really not sure how to put in Zaar times for prep and cook, so just take a look at the directions. It's very easy! The frist "ingredient" is: 1 new rubber glove, washed well and rinsed. The Zaar puter kept spitting that one back at me.

Time P2DT10m

Yield 20 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 (64 ounce) bottle apple juice, chilled
1 (64 ounce) bottle cranberry juice, chilled
2 (32 ounce) bottles ginger ale, chilled
red food coloring (optional)

Steps:

  • You will also need: 1 lb coffee, can washed and rinsed.
  • To make the hand, fill rubber glove with water. Tie at the wrist with string and freeze one or two days. Unmold. Sometimes a finger will fall off when unmolding, this only adds to the ghoulish effect.
  • To make a base for the hand, fill coffee can about 1/3 full with water. Insert the hand and freeze until firm. To remove, run water on the outside of can.
  • When ready to serve pour half the chilled juices and ginger ale into the punch bowl. Insert hand ice mold in the center. Fill bowl with remaining juices and soda. For added effect, place a few drops of red food coloring on the tips of the fingers just before serving.

GOTHIC BLOOD PUNCH

Gothic Blood Punch image

This is brought to you Berronar Truesilver Thanks so much for the snag. This also makes a great Samhain - halloween punch.

Provided by Stormy Stewart @karlyn255

Categories     Non-Alcoholic Drinks

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 can(s) 1 can of the reddest punch you can find (hawaiian punch in the undiluted bottle works very well)
1 bottle(s) 2 liter of sparkling water
1 large of cranberry juice, any flavor
1 - rubber glove
2 - cloths pins

Steps:

  • Two nights before your party, fill the glove with either water or some of the cranberry juice. Clip the glove end shut by using the clothespins and place into your freezer. To make the punch, mix all of the liquid ingredients and pour into a large container. Use your imagination when choosing your container. You can use anything from a tin pail to a crystal punchbowl. The container can also be decorated in gothic fashion. Right before the festivities commence, carefully remove the 'ice hand' from the glove. It will float nicely in your river of Gothic Blood Punch.

Tips:

  • Choose the right wine: Use a red wine that is full-bodied and has a fruity flavor. Avoid wines that are too dry or too sweet.
  • Use fresh fruit: Fresh fruit will give your punch a brighter flavor. If you're using frozen fruit, thaw it before adding it to the punch.
  • Add some spices: Spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves can add a warm and festive flavor to your punch. Just be careful not to add too much, or your punch will be too spicy.
  • Let the punch chill: Chilling the punch for at least 2 hours before serving will allow the flavors to meld and develop.
  • Serve the punch with a garnish: A garnish like a slice of orange or a sprig of mint can add a festive touch to your punch.

Conclusion:

Gothic Blood Punch is a delicious and festive drink that is perfect for any Halloween party. With its rich red color and fruity flavor, it's sure to be a hit with your guests. Just be sure to make a big batch, because it's sure to go fast!
