Tips:

  • Choose fresh, tender green beans. Look for beans that are bright green and snap easily when you bend them.
  • Trim the green beans. Cut off the ends of the beans, where the stem was attached.
  • Blanch the green beans. This will help to preserve their color and crispness. To blanch the beans, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the beans and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until they are bright green and tender. Immediately remove the beans from the boiling water and plunge them into a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process.
  • Wrap the green beans in prosciutto. Lay a slice of prosciutto flat on a cutting board. Place a green bean in the center of the prosciutto and roll it up tightly. Secure the prosciutto with a toothpick.
  • Bake the green bean bundles. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Place the green bean bundles on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the prosciutto is crispy and the beans are heated through.
  • Serve the green bean bundles immediately. These are best enjoyed hot out of the oven.

Conclusion:

Green bean bundles are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer or side dish. They are perfect for parties or potlucks, and they can also be enjoyed as a healthy snack. The combination of crispy prosciutto and tender green beans is irresistible, and the bundles are sure to be a hit with everyone who tries them.
