2 1/2 lbs fresh green beans
3 cups water
1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
1/3 cup chopped onion
1 (8 ounce) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
1/3 cup olive oil
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
