Tips:

  • Choose the right corn: Select fresh, sweet corn on the cob with tightly packed kernels. Avoid ears with dry or damaged husks.
  • Prepare the corn: Peel back the husks, remove the silks, and rinse the corn under cold water. Leave about an inch of the husk attached to the base of the cob to help keep the corn moist during grilling.
  • Make the honey-ginger glaze: Combine honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, ginger, and garlic in a small bowl. Whisk until well blended.
  • Grill the corn: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Brush the corn with oil and grill for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the kernels are tender and slightly charred.
  • Glaze the corn: Brush the corn with the honey-ginger glaze and continue to grill for 2-3 minutes, turning frequently, until the glaze is caramelized and sticky.
  • Serve immediately: Grilled honey-ginger corn is best enjoyed hot off the grill. Serve with additional glaze, if desired.
