Tips:

  • Choose the right zucchini: Look for firm, medium-sized zucchini with smooth, unblemished skin. Avoid zucchini that is too large or has blemishes, as these may be overripe or have a bitter taste.
  • Slice the zucchini evenly: This will help them cook evenly. If you are using a mandoline, be sure to use the guard to protect your fingers.
  • Marinate the zucchini before grilling: This will help them to absorb the flavors of the marinade and prevent them from drying out. You can use a simple marinade made with olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and herbs, or you can get creative and try different flavor combinations.
  • Grill the zucchini over medium heat: This will help them to cook evenly without burning. Be sure to flip the zucchini halfway through cooking so that they brown on both sides.
  • Serve the zucchini immediately: Grilled zucchini is best served hot off the grill. You can enjoy them on their own, or you can use them as a side dish or in salads, sandwiches, and wraps.

Conclusion:

Grilled zucchini is a delicious and healthy side dish that can be enjoyed all summer long. With its mild flavor and versatility, zucchini can be paired with a variety of dishes. Whether you are grilling zucchini for a weeknight dinner or a summer party, these tips will help you to create perfectly grilled zucchini every time.
