Tips:

- Use a good quality Gruyere cheese. This will make a big difference in the flavor of the fondue. - Grate the cheese yourself. Pre-shredded cheese contains additives that can prevent it from melting smoothly. - Use a heavy-bottomed pot to make the fondue. This will help to prevent the cheese from burning. - Cook the fondue over low heat. This will help to prevent the cheese from curdling. - Stir the fondue constantly. This will help to prevent the cheese from sticking to the bottom of the pot. - Serve the fondue with plenty of dippers. Some popular options include bread cubes, vegetables, and fruit. - If the fondue starts to thicken, you can add a little bit of milk or white wine to thin it out. - Leftover fondue can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, simply place the fondue in a saucepan over low heat and stir until melted.
