1 cup brown sugar
1 cup butter, melted
2 eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla
½ teaspoon salt
2 cups flour
2 cups assorted candy, chopped

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350ºF (175ºC).
  • Chop your Halloween candy into bite-size pieces.
  • In a large bowl, mix sugars and melted butter, whisk until mix turns lighter (around 8 minutes).
  • Mix in eggs and vanilla, then salt and flour until completely blended.
  • Mix in the candy.
  • Bake for 45-50 minutes.

1 1/2 cups Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
1 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter, melted
1 cup chopped pecans
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated)
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips (6 oz)
2 tablespoons butter, softened
3/4 cup M&M's® chocolate candies orange and brown

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray.
  • In large bowl, mix oats, flour, brown sugar, salt and 1 cup butter with spoon. Stir in pecans. Remove 1 cup; set aside for topping. Press remaining mixture into pan.

This bar recipe is made from leftover Halloween candy bars. I originally came across this recipe back in 2003 at the Mr. Food recipe website. I did however, add a bit more of the chopped candy bars to the recipe.

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs
1 3/4 cups chopped leftover candy bars, divided (*See note)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Coat a 13x9-inch baking pan with a non-stick cooking spray.
  • In a small bowl, combine the flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.
  • In a large bowl, beat the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla until creamy.
  • Beat in the eggs, then gradually blend in the flour mixture.
  • Stir in 1-1/4 cups of chopped candy.

1 cup graham cracker crumbs
1 cup flaked coconut
1 (6 ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 (6 ounce) package butterscotch chips
1 cup walnuts, chopped
1 (15 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk

  • Melt butter in a 13" x 9" x 2" pan.
