1 tablespoon olive oil
2 cups diced fully cooked ham
1 (15 ounce) jar Alfredo sauce
½ cup 2% milk

Tips:

  • Choose fresh, tender broccoli for the best texture. Fresh broccoli crowns should be deep green and tightly closed. Avoid crowns with yellow or wilted florets.
  • Cut the broccoli florets into uniform pieces so they cook evenly. This will help to prevent some florets from becoming overcooked while others remain undercooked.
  • Don't overcrowd the baking dish. If the broccoli is too crowded, it will not cook evenly and may become mushy. Leave some space between the florets so that they can roast properly.
  • Season the broccoli with salt and pepper, or other desired seasonings, before baking. This will help to enhance the flavor of the broccoli.
  • Roast the broccoli until it is tender but still has a slight crunch. Overcooked broccoli will become mushy and lose its flavor. Check the broccoli for doneness by piercing it with a fork. It should be tender, but still have a slight resistance.
  • Serve the roasted broccoli immediately. Roasted broccoli is best enjoyed fresh out of the oven. You can also store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
