Tips:

  • Use fresh ingredients: Fresh broccoli and ham will give your dish the best flavor. If you can't find fresh broccoli, frozen broccoli is a good substitute.
  • Don't overcook the broccoli: Broccoli should be cooked until it is tender-crisp, but not mushy. Overcooked broccoli will lose its flavor and nutrients.
  • Use a good quality ham: The type of ham you use will make a big difference in the flavor of your dish. Look for a ham that is fully cooked and has a good smoky flavor.
  • Add some cheese: Cheese is a great way to add extra flavor and richness to your dish. You can use any type of cheese you like, but cheddar, mozzarella, and Parmesan are all good choices.
  • Serve immediately: Ham and broccoli supper is best served immediately after it is cooked. This will ensure that the broccoli is still tender-crisp and the ham is still warm and juicy.

Conclusion:

Ham and broccoli supper is a quick, easy, and delicious meal that is perfect for busy weeknights. It is also a great way to use up leftover ham. With just a few simple ingredients, you can create a satisfying and flavorful dish that the whole family will enjoy.
